Account and data deletion

Me is a private app project by Moodbod. This page exists for account and data deletion requests while the project remains a focused app surface.

In the app

Delete data

  • Open Me.
  • Go to the You screen.
  • Open Privacy & security.
  • Choose Delete account or Delete everything.
  • Confirm the deletion prompt.

Deleting data in the app removes data stored on that device. If you signed in and synced data, email us so synced account data can also be processed.

What we remove

  • Account profile information, such as name and email address
  • Synced onboarding answers and recovery focus areas
  • Declared patterns, check-ins, contexts, triggers, and notes
  • Urge logs, outcomes, helpful actions, and reflections
  • Trusted contact records saved in Me
  • AI companion or insight data associated with your account, where stored by us
  • App settings associated with your account

Retention

What may be kept

We may keep limited records only when needed for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, dispute resolution, app store, or compliance purposes. Subscription and purchase records may also be retained by Google Play, Apple, or RevenueCat according to their own policies. We usually process deletion requests within 30 days after verifying the request. Backup copies and provider logs may take additional time to expire according to standard retention schedules.
